Our International Student Program

The Illawarra Grammar School invites applications from international students who wish to study in Australia.
Illawarra Grammar is a place of rigorous academic learning within a joyous atmosphere, set in beautiful grounds.
Our international students are immersed in the culture and community of our School, enjoying an authentic Australian experience.

Located in Wollongong

Illawarra Grammar is situated in the beautiful coastal city of Wollongong, just over one hour south of the Sydney CBD and international airport.
Wollongong is the third largest city in New South Wales, and the tenth largest city in Australia. It is located in the Illawarra region, which has a population of over 300,000.
The area is known for its stunning beaches, beautiful escarpment and one of Australia’s finest universities, University of Wollongong.

Stay With a Local Family

Our international students are accommodated in carefully selected homestays within either an Illawarra Grammar family or a local family. These families are reputable and provide quality accommodation.
