We are pleased to announce some exciting developments in the Illawarra Grammar Junior School as we look ahead to 2025. One of the most significant is the launch of our new STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) program. This initiative will enhance our students’ learning experiences by providing them with innovative and hands-on opportunities to engage in these critical subjects. A specialist teacher has been appointed to oversee this program which will cater for students from Kindergarten to Year 6.

In addition, we will offer The Archimedes Program, designed to enrich and extend the learning of capable students in Years 5 and 6.

The Archimedes Program is offered by invitation only and focuses on the advanced development of mathematical, scientific, engineering and technological content knowledge and skills.

We are excited to see the positive impact that expanding our STEM offering will have on our students as we continue to nurture their curiosity, creativity and problem-solving skills in the classroom.
