The Illawarra Grammar School is an independent co-educational P-12 Anglican Grammar School. About the role
Our Senior School provides exceptional education from Year 7 to Year 12. To support the School’s ongoing growth we are seeking qualified casual teachers in both general and subject specialist teaching roles.
TIGS Senior School delivers the NESA curriculum with a focus on academic excellence and student wellbeing.
We have a range of general casual teaching positions available as well as specific roles in:
- Visual Arts
- Science
- Music

- A copy of all academic transcripts/qualifications. Qualifications gained outside of Australia must be recognised by the NSW Educations Standards Authority (NESA), or equivalent authority.
- Philosophical and pedagogical statement. This document will outline your stance in relation to the position, allowing the demonstration of alignment between your own world view and the School’s Statement of Mission and Values.
- Up-to-date statements of service.
- Evidence of accreditation with the NSW Institute of Teachers (for those qualified after October 2004).
- Proof of accreditation (an accreditation card, a letter from the NSW Institute of Teachers) or proof of employment as a teacher in NSW within the last five years.
