This time of the year invites so many wonderful opportunities. On Thursday our entire Junior School ‘bumped’ up to their new grade to learn about the exciting programmes and spaces that they will enter in 2024. On this day, we also welcomed our new Kindergarten cohort for their final transition morning and Year 6 moved into the Senior School. We welcomed a number of new students throughout the school who were well looked after by their buddies. A big thank you to our Junior School teachers for ensuring such a smooth transition and memorable morning of activities that our students enjoyed and will look forward to in 2024.
Our camps are a highlight of our Outdoor Education programme and next week Stage 2 and 3 will make their way to Camberwarra and Port Hacking. They provide an enriching opportunity to develop so many skills including independence, risk taking, resilience, courage and collaboration through a fun, safe and well designed programme. We wish our students all the best for the wonderful experience ahead.
Our teachers have worked hard to ensure that all students will have a fabulous time. An additional thank you to our Stage 2 Coordinator, Mrs Michelle Tierney and Stage 3 Coordinator, Mrs Rebecca Young for the excellent organisation and coordination of this important programme.
