The Illawarra Grammar School students were among a cohort of 128 students from 15 schools across NSW who took part in the 2023 Gifted and Talented Camp in Douglas Park.

Students worked in teams, shared ideas and experienced a variety of challenging and rigorous learning experiences through core and elective subjects to enhance and extend learning beyond the regular curriculum. Some of these included Robotics, Environmental Sustainability, Stock Market and Creative Writing.

Students also participated in many outdoor activities as well as an engaging and interactive evening programme which included two guest speakers from Good Citizens (via Zoom), trivia and a challenge night.
