NASSA Junior Swimming Competition

On Tuesday night our Junior School swimmers were able to compete in the NASSA Swimming competition. NASSA level competition is the first step towards representing the School at state level in the CIS competitions.

28 students from Year 2 to Year 6 competed with many of the younger students both nervous and excited to swim in the same venue as the Sydney Olympics. Those nerves did not show in the pool though, as all students put in exceptional performances and secured first place and the 2022 NASSA Swimming Championship for TIGS!

Mr Deck – Head of Sport would like to thank our staff members Mrs Dribbus, Mr Edgerton and Ms Pedroza who guided and supported our young swimmers through the night and all the parents who attended, it was fantastic to see our community in person again after so many months.

Congratulations to all of our Junior School swimmers on such a fantastic result.

Unfortunately the Senior School NASSA swimming competition has been cancelled due to the severe weather. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected.
