Principal’s Update
Open Day
We enjoyed our first Open Day of 2024 this week with more than 100 families visiting the School. It was a delight to see our Year 10 hosts leading visitors through the Senior School, giving clear explanations of the workings of our School with joy and pride. The Year 6 hosts did a confident job of doing likewise in the Junior School.
Many visitors commented on the expertise of these students. It is no small task to lead a tour group, but these students did a great job. It was a valuable experience for them, and a great help to the School on such a busy day.
Camps
Some Senior School parents have asked for clarity around the locations of our annual camps for 2024, so the dates and locations of the Year 7-10 camps are listed below for your information. We are pleased with the range of camping experiences for the students, and the increasing level of skill that is required as the students get older and more experienced with the outdoors.

COVID-19
There has been another recent wave of COVID-19 in the Illawarra community, including at our School. For the safety of our students and staff, I ask all parents to ensure that their children are kept at home if unwell, especially as we approach the Winter months.
