The Great Fete

The Great Fete is a cherished highlight of our school year, providing a fantastic opportunity for our community to gather and relish in a day of fun and fulfilment. Scheduled for Saturday 18 May from 10.00am – 3.00pm, this event relies on the collective effort of our entire school community to ensure its success.

 

Volunteer for Fete Planning/Stall Coordinating

We invite you to contribute by volunteering for one or more of the roles listed below for the planning phase of the event.

  • Fete Coordinator: Provides comprehensive event oversight, collaborating closely with the School.
  • Raffle Coordinator: Secures sponsorships and donations, facilitates communication with sponsors and winners.
  • Stall Holder Coordinator (Junior School, Senior School, External): Assists in recruiting stall holders, explains reimbursement and cash management procedures.
  • External Performance Coordinator: Organises external performers, such as dance schools.
  • Communications Coordinator: Drafts messages for newsletters, WhatsApp, Facebook, and other media platforms.
  • Volunteer Coordinator: Establishes volunteer rosters through Trybooking.
  • Stall Holder: Manages the operation of a stall. In previous years, we had a variety of stalls including face painting, sausage sizzle, white elephant, Devonshire tea, side show and many more.

We will send volunteer rosters for each stall closer to the date and hope that each parent can volunteer at least one hour of their time on 18 May.
