Your Library Is Always Here For You
TIGS Libary – Mr David Green
Mar 27 2020
TIGS Library staff want to remind you: our wonderful service is not just on campus. We encourage you to access your online library from home. If you are moving to home-based learning please visit now and borrow some books. We’ve extended loans to 10 each – and 10 each for parents and carers – nothing is due soon and there are no late fees.
How can your library help you learn and relax at home?
- “Ask a librarian” service: email Mr Green on dgreen@tigs.nsw.edu.au for help with
- referencing
- eBooks
- database searching
- research
- library catalogue
- ClickView
When you are at home we recommend you:
- have a look at our databases, start with JSTOR as it’s easy and very useful
- keep reading for pleasure
- explore ClickView (hint: it’s not just for study!)
- access eBooks and the Renaissance (Accelerated Reader) catalogue, and much more, through the Library Junior and Senior School OLLE pages
- request a State Library of NSW library card to access many great resources
- reserve a hardcopy book from our library that will be ready for you on return
- enjoy a picture book being read live each day by the wonderful Oliver Jeffers
